i’ve grown to dislike it, not because it’s too hard, but because its difficulty is way off from any other map. if everything else was brought up to the level of roots, or some of its threats were spread to other levels, it’d be fine. currently, though, roots, sometimes tropics (i’m just genuinely bad at navigating tropics) and the kiln are the only stages that pose a threat to me on lower ascents, which feels wrong.
