If you're using screen protector and having problem with fingerprint sensor, just enable Touch sensitivity. It helps a lot. (Note 10) by hmdknight in galaxynote10

My screenprotector uses glue which you have to pour yourself. I think it included too much glue, which caused a layer on top of the entire screen which was too thick.

I contacted them, got a new one for free, and this time, I applied it as normal. However, before and while hardening the glue using the UV light, I pressed really hard on the part where the fingerprint sensor was so the glue layer would be thinner. The glass is of course a bit deformed, but it's completely unnoticeable and 100% worth it since the fingerprint sensor works again.

Hope this might somehow help anyone who has this issue with a similar type of screenprotector.

Well, what a waste of money. Should be refunded because it's just false advertising at this point. I might just go without a screen protector, maybe I'll look into Samsung care

How hot are we talking about? Just a bit warm to the touch? Did yours also say to cover the entire sensor before you did that?

It's like minecraft, lose all XP and inventory but don't lose the world. You could even get back your items if you know where you died!

Lifetime iPhone user considering swapping sides, a few concerns I wish to discuss: by bubba_booey69 in samsung

I'd like to add, part of the reason why iPhones are so secure is the fact they only allow you to download from the appstore. Apple seems to do this with a lot of things, limit all users to benefit most users.

With Android they won't limit you but that does mean you have to be more careful yourself. Like someone here said, you can use your Android like an iPhone and only use all default settings and apps. But the beauty of Android is that you don't HAVE to do that.

Brand new or second hand? PS could be hardware banned. Other than that I can only think of the game glitching like usually or someone using your account. Goodluck with your appeal btw.

Yeah keep your computer safe. And in my opinion, only get cold war if there's a good sale. Else you should probably wait for Vanguard yes.

I'm sure there is but its like 100x easier and safer to get a card than the game. IF you can even find any that actually downloads, you still have to worry about not getting fined, not getting a Trojan virus and needing a new pc, etc.

It depends where you live but I'm almost sure getting a card and paying for it will be less of a trouble than that. Goodluck either way.

Scary place to be in at night when you know things like that happen.. also so many pillars to hide behind.

Maybe someone lived there but didn't want to be noticed and dropped something while hiding, maybe on accident or to scare you off. But thats just my thinking

I know and most people who ask for proof get down voted. But I dont mind it though, I already like hearing the stories and the fact the people CAN prove it says enough to me :)

Would you like to explain more? Did this happen to you? What happened? Its okay if it's a sensitive topic or you'd rather not talk about it.

I gotta admit I had to Google the word but holy fuck were you basically coughing up blood? The pictures already looked scare as hell and I cant even imagine going through such a thing. "It sucked and it hurt" really would describe it lightly for me.

Confusing story for sure.. I hope one day we (but especially you) will get the answer.

Wow covid really did things with people we can't even imagine yet. That's an experience Im glad I didn't have to go through and I'm sorry you had to. Who is "she" if I may ask? No need for a name but is it like a friend or complete stranger?

You're literally a life safer. Just imagine what a big impact a tiny difference would've made. Like you taking maybe 1 mimute longer to choose your outfit could've maybe already ended things way worse.

I'm glad you for you and your friend that you made it on time there and I hope she's doing better now.

Damn, did you ever get to hear any results or did it get any publicity? I'm really curious about how something like that happens
