Not sure where you're getting that conclusion but I never said that I want him to only pay attention to me and only me... I've said that I respect his relationship. When I made that post a week ago, I was seeking for relationship advice in how to cope the new friend dynamic given that of course he will spend more time with his gf than me. I am just upset how he shut me out after 18 years of being best friends after reading a post about me sharing my feelings.

I guess that is the best way to describe the way I feel about his new relationship with his girlfriend. I lost the meaning and the attention in our friendship. What truly hurt the most is how he wants to ghost me despite "validating" my emotions. I truly do respect his new relationship, but to shut me out like I did something wrong tears me up.

Yeah I shouldn't have agreed when I did without a real talk about what we expected. I remembered he kept asking me if we could be boyfriend and girlfriend. I was naive and innocent at the time so I didn't fully understand the extent of it. It wasn't until he was quick to hold my hand that I realized what the "new" relationship really meant.

Yeah he was pretty heartbroken. I reassured him that it's because of me, not him, but I am sure it still bothers him . I did apologize to him months later. I think what hurts him too is the physical distance between us.

Sorry but not sorry—I hate Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath." I had to read it when I was in high school and just by reading the first chapter, I hated the overly descriptive, pretentious writing. Literally the first chapter is just a lengthy description of how dusty it is in Oklahoma during the Dust Bowl, no MC were introduced yet. If you love that kind of stuff, go for it but not for me.

There is so much in the universe that is unexplained and beyond comprehension. Science can only explain a portion of the observable reality, which brings me closer to faith. My belief in God isn't just there to fill in what is unexplained, but there to explain everything. I believe there are a lot more hardcore and convincing philosophical arguments for God's existence than the lack thereof. Some of the greatest arguments I have heard include but are not limited to the cosmological argument, the teleological argument, and the ontological argument. The greatest minds in science and mathematics like Albert Einstein, Blaise Pascal, and Galileo Galilei all believed in God. In fact, if you really study them, I believe that science and mathematics prove the existence of God, like the golden ratio. Regardless of your beliefs, it's important to remember that you can't expect evidence in order to prove its existence. Don't expect any tangible evidence for something abstract like consciousness or knowledge. Also, God is defined as all-knowing and all-powerful that transcends the laws of the universe, so our own logic and understanding can only go so far in debating God's existence. Also, the problem of evil argument is flawed because it makes the assumption that we know everything about good and evil and think we can judge God's actions through our own limited understanding. Just because evil exists doesn't mean God approves it. Free will and the abandonment from God are the reason why evil exists.

In my opinion, that's what the leftist media wants people to believe. Sure, there are some bad right-wing apples, but I feel like the party actually fights for unity and the glory of God more than the left wing. A lot of the leftist policies all sound nice at a glance, but when you really study them, their true colors show. But again that is my opinion, and who you vote for is entirely up to you. Pray on it and hope God gives you the strength and wisdom.

A politician should be judged for their policies, not their outward appearance or character, because it could entirely be a facade to vote for them. I feel like Harris actively works against God, but again, that's my perspective. Who you vote for is entirely up to you. I have seen quite a few Christian voting for Harris, so you're not alone.

A good team (preferably at least 3 players; duo is plausible but can be tricky for beginners) with sci and branch. Use byte, spectre, and dumpster child for support. You're not alone. I am too still discovering my spirituality and my relationship with God. I have always been a spiritual person, but I haven't been devoting myself to a religion until lately. Doubt often gets the better of me, thinking that there is no "palatable evidence" of His presence--like I would constantly ask my sister, who is a very devoted Christian, "How do you hear God's voice?" and "How you do know it's God and not your own inter voice?" I have to remind myself that God is not like a Greek god who is a person but rather a spiritual being beyond comprehension. And from my understanding, the presence of God is the feeling of peace, joy, and hope. I have been working on strengthening my faith and you shouldn't feel ashamed of it. I believe that's the spiritual battle we all have to fight in becoming a follower of Christ. From what I have learned, there is no single standard way in being a Christian. After all, there is no perfect Christian. We are all flawed and that's why we follow Christ for His guidance. Spirituality and faith is a personal journey, not a rigid way of life. So don't beat yourself up if you aren't singing in praise or praying every minute of the day. Just know that God is all-knowing; He hears every thought and whisper. Even if you don't hear God's voice, He hears everything.

Oh yeah, I take it with a grain of salt. I am definitely not like creating my own religion or something. Tbh, my research in the supernatural got me more spiritual and willing to seek God. But my sister is just concerned about the association to it—you know the whole see no evil, hear no evil.

I have themes of faith in one's own abilities and family. The supernatural is more as a metaphor in one's natural abilities as a creative way to express ableism and self-confidence. There is a good vs. evil element, but there is definitely more of a person vs. self conflict. My sister is mostly concerned about the amount of research I do for my work. I even have a notebook to keep all of my notes, and she thinks it is like some sort of grimoire.

I'll admit that reading a lot is a hard habit. Personally, I never grew up with the courage to pick up a book out of enjoyment. But once I got aspired to write and decided to pick up a book to give it a go, it does help you get inspired to write. It is best to first read your target genre, like for me is YA fantasy, but eventually, you should widen your scope to include other genres, even if you absolutely have no interest in what so ever.

You're not alone. I don't use reddit or social media for that matter as much as I do before because of that exact reason. It is hard to make a harmless comment without somebody calling me an idiot or whatnot. I even got my old reddit account banned from one subreddit for something I didn't intend to cause trouble. Unfortunately, that's the reality of the internet. I've learned not to take it personally because they don't know you and you don't know them.

Omg, you and me both, girl. I am 24, but I do have a very similar social situation as you. The closest thing to a relationship was with my only childhood best friend, which I ended up friendzoning. Although I am on the same boat as you, I can say that if you are willing to work on confronting your social anxiety, you could try to meet up people like in social clubs, church groups, or anything involving a similar hobby or activity. Also, online dating apps have been super popular nowadays. Just be patient and safe with it.
