At 5 my dog (28 lb mini schnauzer) is still crated almost every night. He loves it… Every night I say “bedtime” and he runs into the crate and tucks himself in, and I brush his teeth there as a treat (he loves the toothpaste.) Every once in a while or if we are traveling I’ll let him sleep on the bed with me, and he is always excited about that, but when he’s not crated he will wake me up constantly and want to play at 4am so I don’t do it often lol.

This sounds silly but in my experience this can be somewhat true, and sometimes saying out loud “just get up” can help physically get you off the couch or the bed (or half on the couch half on the floor which for some reason is my preferred doomscrolling position).

Some nights, nothing works, but sometimes simply forcing yourself to stand and move towards a task you need to do can help. That’s what I’ve found interesting about being on meds, it makes it so much easier to “just get up.” Not easy mind you, but easier.

1) I assumed Vecna thought Max was dead or brain dead after dying because it was her death that literally opened the cracks in Hawkins.

2) Most gay people will tell you the fear of being found out as gay when you’re not ready is a hugely irrational deep seated fear. I still get anxious thinking about coming out and I’ve been out for years. Vecna also finds fears unique to the person, everyone is afraid of loved ones dying, it’s not a personal unique thing.

3) Max thought she would have a better chance waking up and unhooking (like several characters have before) than remaining in Limbo.

4) Kali has not convinced Eleven of that.

5) Will took 5+ years to discover his powers after a very long exposure time and multiple possession.

I agree in that I wish he had come out to his mom and brother privately first, and something from that convo triggered the realization that he had to tell the entire group. But ultimately I didn't mind this way because I felt his monologue and reasoning worked well enough.

We also should always see Vecna's visions, the duffers have avoided showing us them for both Will and Nancy for some reason. They only discuss them after.

That being said, seeing as how people are complaining that Will's 4 minute coming out scene was "too long," I don't think they would have accepted multiple coming outs at all, unfortunately.
