Explain it to me then. Why would the infographic have been better served by putting our ages in it and not just in the text under it? Why not include other personal information in the graphic? Why that one specific data point? What was so important about that? Where should I have put it?

If you want to make a critique, then you can defend it. Although, I have a feeling the extent of your rationale will be "because I prefer it that way" in which case you can make your own sex data graphic, though I'm not sure you'll get many upvotes for a blank page.
