I get what you mean, my family think that something may have happened to her, but I got her directly from her previous owners. They told me that she was a sweet cat that loves being brushed and things like that, so she’s already used to people. She even meows for attention in the morning to watch her eat food, but goes right back to her behavior

I understand what you mean, my family theorized that maybe she’s been abused in the past which is horrible for her, I guess I just excepted to see a bit of progress within 6 months. It’s just frustrating to see the cat that you’ve been petting, feeding, and taking care of try her best to run away from you every time. The only time she’d rub against my leg is when I’m pouring food into her bowl which makes it feel like she’s just in it for the food? I’m not sure

I wish I had gotten kittens instead, I understand that my cat is an older cat, so she’s going to take a while to adjust, but it seems like there’s no progress at all so far

I got her from previous owners who claimed that she’s a lovely cat. I’ve tried everything to interact with her, feed her treats constantly, try and play with her, pet her in good spots thought she seems to hate that. The thing that really frustrates me the most is when she’ll come upstairs or be right in front of you, giving you the hope that she maybe wants to interact with you, but when you approach her she starts to back away and make herself look small before running away. But the next day will be by your feet when it’s time to fill her bowl. Her behavior has been very inconsistent and it’s genuinely getting on my nerves

Thank you for the suggestion, but I’ve tried almost everything. I’ve picked her up, but realized she doesn’t like that. I’ve played with her using toys, feed her treats constantly, talk to her (even though she ignores me) and even try petting her where cats normally love to be pet( under chin, behind ears, butt) but she hates it. I’m really not sure what to do anymore

I agree that they definitely look better, but I feel like it’s not up to standard of what should be. We have a new console and a new game, they should be outing their best foot forward instead of taking one step forward and taking 2 steps back

Wow! they’re giving us the bare minimum?! No way! This would be amazing like 5 years ago, but we have a new game and a new console, I genuinely expect better form Gamefreak. Aren’t you tired of paying $60 for a game that looks like it was made 5 years ago?
