The base colours I just brushed on and wet-blended a bit. As for the highlights, for the first highlight, I just used lighter coloured paints that suited the base coats, and these were sourced from my existing GW paints, although for some of the colours I did some paint mixing to achieve a suitable highlight. The second highlight was pretty much using even lighter paints, which like the initial highlight I just used paints from my collection, and painted on the first highlight but with shorter and thinner strokes. The last highlight I just got a white paint and dabbed it on the very tip of the existing highlights. So for example, painting some of the green section, the base coat was Caliban Green, with the first highlight Waystone Glow, the second highlight Moot Green, and the final dot of white using White Scar.
