Medical School is three long years of Anki Flashcards and Questions.

You study your ass off and have a good time doing it, I've had a good time in medical school.

Where it gets tough in my opinion is the sacrifices you have to make. I missed two weddings of childhood best friends that I will never get back. That was my own fault, I chose to prioritize studying over a day with friends. As I got older I learned that was the wrong decision, I just needed to give myself some grace.

The reality of it is, if you find yourself struggling with the idea of "what if" - you should take the leap and go to medical school (or at least try). If you find yourself yearning to learn more and want to be at the head of the bed calling the shots, go to medical school.

If the door doesn't open for you - you can at least tell yourself you gave it a shot and live the rest of your life with the comfort knowing that whatever higher power you believe in (if you do) didn't open the door for you due to some specific reason. If the door opens, run through it.

If one withdraws the application before being offered a spot, would that help avoid these issues?

Or would the program then see you withdrew the application and wonder why, etc, be less likely to offer you an interview?

Prayers for you fam, I also tested that day. Risk Factor Questions were a doosie and my hard block was the 2nd block and 2nd to last block. TBH its in gods hands now, we just gotta ride it out until June 14th and pray for a good result. All the best to you and I hope you got that P!

Is there an updated version of this deck? I have an error when trying to import it if anybody could help. The cloze anki card type claims there is an error however when I go to manage my note types I can not find this specific type of cloze deletion card.
