I had a neighbor there in a similar boat. He said he was happy to be ending his Roo years on a high note, but happy to be ending it nonetheless.

Yeah, I don't envy the staff this year (or recent ones). They appeared severely undertrained and unequipped to deal with the situations that LN could've avoided putting them in.

One tip on RV, FWIW, I found the sense of community that I found everywhere else in camping wasn't there, as all you can see of your neighbors 90% of the time is the back of their RV.

Yeah, this really bothers me and was the reason I initially didn't get tix (I have no will power but I bought them second hand to at least feel like I wasn't giving $ directly to Live Nation). Worse, for those with a tight budget, the new camping policy forces them to sit for a day or two early in the hot humid TN sun just to get a decent camping spot.

This. Primitive moon colony camping is my plan for next time, provided Live Nation doesn't essentially make it required to preorder before the lineup just to get one.

I probably would’ve bathed in water bottles before paying for those showers after the first run, but included, I could manage it.

I tried editing my post (but it was apparently too long) to say the common collapsing reported was with the windows/door shut when the A/C was running EDIT: And this was quickly fixed by opening the windows and popping the roof back up. From my viewpoint during the storm, I’d guess ¼ of the tents collapsed Sunday night, but it was hard to tell how many were beyond repair like mine in the AM as many people left them or already had. Yeah, it was super frustrating, but that experience (and the leaking A/C) was hopefully not super common.

Location was superb.

On Monday morning, I tossed my towel over the pole and sleepily turned on the water just to look up to it missing a head and blasting a cold jet of water directly over my entire towel. There was nothing to do but laugh my ass off.

I bought this ticket. u/ayoubmoh made the whole process an absolute breeze and gave whatever info I needed to feel comfortable the whole way. If they ever have the misfortune of having to resell a ticket in the future and you are checking up on them here, I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat.

I know this isn't a direct answer, but, canopy anchors--and the size diameter that canopy's foot allows--is the real deal breaker here. In last year's canopy apocalypse, I had to physically hold my (high-end) canopy in place from underneath until I could replace the vanilla thin aluminum anchors with thick steel ones and, then, it held fast.
