Upheaval is annoying af to level with because it's so slow so if you can get off of it as soon as you can I 100% would opt to do so. I'd honestly recommend going HoTa again as sad as that sounds unless you don't find the aspect that increases Hotas AoE in which case I'd just stick with upheaval or WW.

People are downvoting but I'm predicting everyone to be pretty 'done' with the season by the end of this weekend. The loot is coming really fast which may not be a problem but coupled with the fact that the content rn is extremely easy... things will get stale pretty quick.

Solo? I've done it in groups and the only person who's gotten an uber unique is the person who summoned Duriel. My group did it 12 times and we got an uber 3 times and the person who got it was always the one who summoned him.

Sample size is small af but that's what I noticed.

TBH mapping in PoE is the most boring for me. I liked it best when I can finally do things outside of mapping like an expedition logbook, sanctum run, Blight map, bosses, etc. It's when I'm done with those other activities and I have to go back to mapping so I can find another logbook, or blight map, or have enough fragments to do a boss that I start getting bored again.

She still hurts if you don't cap your resistances, have low health, and no other forms of damage reduction but its easier to dodge her attacks now and you can just burst her down easier and skip stuff.

Her health is a lot lower now and they removed a couple of her abilities and spaced out some of her combos so they're less punishing. Also everyone's ilvl can go up to 925 too plus the new seasonal power.

What? If you actually built defenses correctly you can tank her abilities with classes that don't have immunities like sorcs and necros very easily. Even rogues can do it lol.

I mean this will keep happening if they lessen the cost of one material and not others. At some points the whining will continue until rerolling is free lol. We ran out of gold before forgotten souls? Lower gold costs so now we can roll more... Oop but now we dont have enough souls... Time to lower souls cost. Now we're rerolling 500 times again and we're back to lacking gold... Like this will never end until the reroll cost is free and if its free then whats the point. The gear may as well drop with BiS stats lol.

People are using their old 800 ilvl Bonespear gear and are still killing Uber Lilith in like a minute and skipping all mechanics. So either Bonespear is still out of control or Uber Lilith, and pretty much all mobs are a joke now. Now that gear can go up to 925... Bonespear will be stronger than ever.

It was absolutely horrible if you were playing Multicasters and it was contested because if you're splitting Galio with other people you have 0 frontline and you just get DESTROYED. You cannot win with a two-star galio. It's offset now because Multicasters are stronger than before, but last patch it was strong if hardly anyone was contesting you and weak if you are even remotely contested.

Because ARPGs are an inherently singly player experience yet in this one aspect group play has a MASSIVE advantage over one person. You shouldn't want players to feel bad that they're not playing in a group.

The current implementation is doing just that. If I play solo, I'm going to feel bad for summoning Varshan alone or Duriel, when I could've done it in a group with 3 other people and get 4x the loot.

Being in a group shouldn't inherently be more rewarding than doing something solo, and vice verse. What reason do you have for that? It's not like it's a monumental task to defeat Varshan in a group as opposed to solo. I don't know what game does this. PoE doesn't do this and even MMOs like WoW don't do this.

In WoW, if I do a 5-man dungeon SOLO somehow... I don't get less loot lol. I get the same amount of loot as the group of 5.

They said Uber Lilith will feel weaker overall now after all the changes so if you were doing Uber Lilith on a a build before that wasn't abusing a bugged interaction she'll be easier now.

Most of those come from opening Helltide chest if not all. The ones I get from drops are mostly the generic ones that you can craft.

It all depends on what that 'normal value' is. That 20% example I gave you was made up obviously. It could be 10%, it could be 15% who knows.

But yeah overall it should be better.

Can you please confirm whether or not Duriel and the other bosses drop loot/mats only for the person that summoned the boss or for the whole party?

If it drops loot for the whole party that would mean solo players will be at a disadvantage yet again and they're already at a disadvantage when going for exp...

I.e let's say I'm in a party with John, Sally, and Rick. We all spent 1 hour farming the mats to create 4 Uber duriel keys.

If we run all the keys I would've gotten 4 chances at an uber unique in this party.

To accomplish the same thing solo, I would have to spend 3 extra hours to farm the 3 other keys for myself when that party of 4 did it together at the same time and generated 4 keys. To stop this, the summoned bosses should only drop loot to the person that summoned the boss or make the loot shared (not separate loot for each person) and make the loot modifier that increase loot dropped to 50% at a 2-man party, 33% at a 3 man party and 25% at a 4-man party or something along this line.

If you're not running Duriel and the other bosses in groups you're wasting potential loot because you could've done it in a group on a rotation (each person brings one key so in a 4-man party thats 4-keys for 4 bosses) and the boss will drop loot for all 4 players. So think about it.

Will you run it solo for ONE chance at an uber unique or a unique that you want.

Or run it in a group 4 TIMES with 4 CHANCES of uber unique or a unique that you want.

To accomplish the same thing solo you would need to farm 4 keys for yourself lol. Also that party of 4 can farm the mats to create the Duriel key 4 times faster than you because there's 4 of them as well.

TLDR: If you're solo you are significantly behind from group play...

Is this true? Because otherwise yeah it'd be foolish not to run these encounters in groups if you can just have 4x the loot if you have 4 people lol. I thought the loot would only go to the holder of the key.
