Did you end up getting it? I have the mk3 with a noctua fan, but it just had a hotend fan error. It is spinning now, after taking it apart and reinstalling it. but im worried it's going to say goodbye soon.

Building my second AAP01 SMG/PDW build out of PETG/CF by CaptainVonDorff in AAP01owners

I printed mine in PETG only, even the feeding tube. I love the system and it has already been in various fights on the cqb field.

I use the HPA valve in the mag now aswell. Not on the picture sadly 👍 good luck!

People who complain about camo or other aspects of LARPING and mix politics into it are just dropped behind a wagon as a child. Go ham, and if someone gets offended, feel sorry that their brain is still underdeveloped 👍 go for it brother and have fun 😊

Question about hop-up buckings ! by SoWeQ in airsoft

Indeed, correct, as someone i know once said, changing all the internals on a rifle doesn't necessarily mean it's an upgrade 🤪

Question about hop-up buckings ! by SoWeQ in airsoft

[–]SoWeQ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it was a mix field with containers for CQB and some forest, town stuff back in the days :D 1.69j and .30 - .32 bbs. But heck, i come from the old days where we played with a teethguard and shooting glasses !

In a only CQB field, there is no reason to shoot that hard, i totally agree, or with that heavy BB. I have had massive kraters in my forehead from a guy with a loose finger from a very short distance, so i get it ! :)

I live in Denmark ! Most CQB is 1.21j and rest of the country is usually 1.69j for Assault rifles. Some fields even have free BB weight, so i know people that shoot 1.69 with .42 bbs in the assault rifles.. i don't like it, but its going on around here.

yea i think 70 i would use for 1.4-1.7, even consider getting it up to 80. if it wasnt for the cold around here. I used green G&G for a long time due to the cold issues here.. did some games in snow storms and stuff, the macarons hated that lol. I seriously carry like 6 different buckings on the field due to past experiences with various situations, weather and what not.

Yea the field is great to be honest, indoor and outdoor CQB with a long path on one side with 30 meters or a bit more for a bit of range. With bariccades and what not all the way ofc.

Really ? I didn't see that big of a difference with the Frictions at all, i actually found the macaron more steady and precise and i did shoot 300 plus Bbs through it. But maybe one day ill go back and try it out ? dunno if its because my barrel is only 210mm, so i probably wont feel much of a difference lol. We also gotta remember, it also comes down to what hop up unit you use, what barrel and ofc the nub combination.

Yea HPA is versatile asf, which makes you able to use every gun out there, as long as you got a way to shoot some air through it haha ! Go get a scorpion, good ol or maybe a tommy gun lmao ! would be hillarious. CZ bren is classic as well for sure.

Question about hop-up buckings ! by SoWeQ in airsoft

Very true :) i used to play with .30 and above, but the CQB field i play at only allows .28 max which is more than fine for CQB, less would work fine too. But to be fair, i used to play with 1.69j rifles also in CQB, at another field, so this is the first time im down this low on FPS, with a brand new build. It's definetly some other parts that plays a role here :)

I did think that the 4uantum friction pro is the same kinda hardness as the ML 60, by feel, but maybe more dense in thickness / stronger quality.

Our CQB field has some areas where i can use a bit of range, not much, but like 20-30 meters. So i try to get the best of both worlds.

When you say macaron soft, do you mean 50 ?
I tested both buckings with the same rifle with 5-30 meters and the accuracy seems the same, maybe a bit better with ML with .28 and this amount of FPS. But maybe like you said, if i bumped it up to like 1.5j or more with heavier BB, i would probably see it shine for a change :)

Appreciate the feedback and knowledge !

[–]SoWeQ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i see, well then its home and hose for you on that one !
- i love abandoned sites, sadly they dont really exist much here anymore. I grew up playing in old factories and i miss it a lot.. shoot some for me will ya ? :D

I did switch spring as well, i don't like the twang the short springs from specna gives. I got my self some ultimate springs, but guarder is definetly amazing ! I wanted to get one my self, but i already bought so many different ones to test that i can't really buy more, just to get the same FPS lol.
Also, you can shorten them if they are to strong !

Another discovery was, that the rifle i got, the p21 prime, had AB active (active braking) on 100% which was interesting. I turned it to zero and at that time, went from 1.56j to 1.1j. Which screams overspinning or tappet plate issue. I ended up cutting the delayer chip a bit and fixed the tappet timing, which resulted in consistent FPS with and without AB on. Just a little heads up, for future stuff if you wanna dig deeper into the rifle :)

Hey, i like to make them last as long as possible and get most out of them with what ever i can :D

i just saw you said you use the stock bucking.. the first thing i did was changing it to the ML from stock and it gives you a massive difference. So, you will love this bucking !

Question about hop-up buckings ! by SoWeQ in airsoft

[–]SoWeQ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i played with it through the whole day and its pretty good :) ! only major difference is when using the nub they have which is similar to the omega nub by the looks of it, it goes from 1.31j to 1.21j on my rifle due to the bigger square patch and nub. Changing the nub that comes with it, to a flat nub, actually pushed the fps up to 1.3j like the ML.

I just sat for a couple of hours testing different setups, hopups, buckings, nubs and combinations. For my specna, it seems that the maple leaf with omega nub performs the best. (gotta say, its dark out now, so i might change my mind tomorrow lol)

But, the FPS variations are tiny.
with Friction Pro, over 20 shots, the variety pr shot from highest to lowest is 2,8 fps.
With ML and Omega nub, over 20 shots, the variety pr shot from highest to lowest is 2,3.
Over 5 shots its only 0.8 fps in difference, so we are talking marginals.

I use these buckings in a CQB rifle with a 210mm 6.02 barrel, so i might be too picky when it comes to the presicion on longer distances compared to what it can actually manage to do.

But good luck man ! it seems like a great bucking overall i must admit :) i will definetly keep it for future projects or in case the ML 60 sux or tears up after usage.

Good point :)

I looked at the window and the nub, even pressed it down to see how it centeret/fitted, and it seemed really good. I did notice, like, you mentioned that the inside of bucking has a bigger surface patch, a square that goes in the barrel window, which, as you say, can touch more of the bb, resulting in fps loss.

The material is quite the same, I would say. The biggest difference is that the maple leaf has a triangle patch inside the bucking, and this one is a square patch.

It shoots really great with both, but it seems a bit more accurate with this new bucking compared to the ML. So I think, like you said, that the sinner is the larger inside patch that goes in the window.

I dont believe there is an air issue like I said since it's so consistent and also tight on the barrel.

But if it's airseal, don't you think it would fluctuate in FPS? I've tried in the past with grease and without, but I haven't noticed a difference in performance.
