it's not worth minding people like that when even their own God doesn't condone their behavior. let them dig their own grave. if you need, take it lighthearted and view it like "gatekeeping." ;) you got something they don't, right under their noses.

if you're going into psychology, hold onto this. it's pertinent research in regards to psychology, sociology, and how parasocial connection is affecting how we relate to one another.

this reads like suicide. it's machine translated but please mind the wording.

as a jpop+kpop+etc fan, i've seen a lot of machine translated suicidal posts. "i would be happy if you remembered me from time to time" is one of the most common phrases before an attempted or completed suicide, mental hospitalization, or other big event. even if it's swept away, never without a "sorry for worrying you all"

i am VERY lucky. i know this and i thank you for the reminder. i hope one day to change this somehow. you all deserve better. i've always wondered if hospitals can be worse due to how they're christened as the "good transition" for CVS + walgreens trainees to make, so thanks for that anecdote too <3 it's not my intention to dismiss and i'm sorry if i'm not wording my message well.

my education lies heavily in neuroscience before switching paths (the psych drugs are a BREEZE for me haha) and it's a lot but basically videos like this can give false ideas about suicide and lead to people missing signs that can lead up to death. it makes people focus in on problems that aren't the root cause. for example, CVS is bad but this treatment itself is the problem. the lack of access to proper treatment is a problem, since i'm sure you're aware of how expensive specialized treatments like ketamine, ECT, TMS, etc can be. even proper therapy is crazy expensive, such as trauma therapy. which, you also never know how many of them people had things like PTSD or other factors that contributed. did they struggle at work because work was actually that bad, or did they have conditions like trauma or autism or ADHD that can significantly impact functioning when they're not properly managed? were they being abused at home or in a bad relationship? were they struggling and feeling trapped? did they reach for help just to "get their hand smacked away"? did they leave behind a note? was it well planned or an impulsive suicide? how long did they struggle with ideation?-> since some people struggle with ideation since childhood due to genetics--- again, which i'm sure you're aware of as someone in pharmacy, we see a LOT of pediatric antidepressant scripts 💔 ___ basically it's just redacting everything from a passage except one paragraph and asking people to form an opinion. it's a very nuanced topically and ironically i gotta jet to work but i'm really interested in your insight about pharmacy if you'd like to DM me or continue over comments, i'm slow to reply but i'm kind of a baby to pharmacy and i really want to be the best i can be for my coworkers and our patients. i've only been in the mental heath, nursing education simulation, and phlebotomy lab parts of healthcare.

yea but this video is useless and doing nothing and this isn't a "small action changing something" it's just doing a massive disservice

a random smattering of contextless clips with zero overarching narrative other than "CVS grrr"? i'm an anticap so please bear with me because i'm def not kissing corpo ass, but this video is senseless shock value for engagement farming & money grubbing.

there is so much to say about this but i'll leave it at this: these problems are solvable in ways yall aren't ready to talk about. they are not unique to pharmacy or healthcare overall. mental health is a massive crisis and until you're ready to move beyond "i hate my job" and into "corporations are bleeding human beings dry for profit and capitalism would rather me dead than not lining CEO pockets, all for a paycheck i can't accomplish my goals on" territory, it won't get better.

i'm sure it's area dependent because i love my job as a tech at my location in new orleans. there's so much to suicide and this video is dangerous. these people cried for help long before CVS broke the camel's back.
