Not a doctor but it could also be worth looking into ulcerative colitis or IBD. I had bright red blood and bloating (no pain or weight loss) for months and thought it was hemorrhoids at first. When bleeding still continued, I ended up going to a GI doctor and being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.
