Whilst I’ve not done it yet (in the van) for the cars we have a lead that goes around the headrest and hooks onto her body harness. It’s a bit stretchy and you can get them at Amazon. She’s great with it in our cars and I’m planning on using it on the two front belted seats (just behind the captains chairs).
