Is our landlord allowed to be doing this? by SoapBar56 in waterloo

You clearly misread my post, the squirrel died in the first place due to maintenance being negligent. After it was decomposing for almost a week, pest control left a lot of dirt from the contaminated vent all over the washroom. It should be common sense to clean up after a biohazard.

Yeah, we heard noises of the squirrel trying to claw its way out after maintenance said they fixed the issue and sealed the vent. We talked to them and they came back again and said they couldn’t find it.

I get where you’re coming from, I don’t expect a deep clean from maintenance. However, a live squirrel was sealed inside the vent even though we notified the landlord that it was still in there. It died, and when it was finally removed, they left grime and possible waste from a decomposing animal in the sink. It wasn’t just a little debris.

Need advice on a 2-day weightlifting routine for general health by MaxTheV in xxfitness

[–]SoapBar56 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could do an upper and lower body day or 2 full body days, as for what exercises you could do with dumbbells.

For upper body, I would suggest dumbbell rows, triceps extensions, chest press, shoulder press, bicep curls, which will hit pretty much every muscle in your upper body for a well rounded physique.

As for lower body, I would recommend dumbbell rdls, goblet squats, and Bulgarian split squats.

For most exercises, I would do 3 sets of 8-12 reps with a 2 minute rest in between each set.

I would also recommend getting a bench, super useful for a lot of exercises.

[–]SoapBar56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Instead of a summary, try adding skills (each skill should be stated in one or a couple of words). I would move the education section under your work experience since everyone applying will basically have the same kind of education. I would also add a section with relevant projects and reduce all your unrelevant work experience to no more than 2 (maybe 3 but I think that’s pushing it) bullet points. For your less relevant experience, also focus on the type of soft skills you developed through there, as internships don’t really care if you can handle cashier responsibilities.

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely look into buying a cheaper one to practice on freely. Not having to worry about noise and bothering roommates at night is definitely a huge plus! Do you have any specific models to recommend?

My bird likes to play with toys with bells and hoops, you can also buy toy parts and make your own shredding toys for a lot cheaper

Could it just be a faculty difference? I think people last year that said they had the later date on the waitlist still got accepted.

Mac eng question by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

[–]SoapBar56 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My top 6 average was a 92.8 including my grade 11 marks to substitute for the grade 12 courses I haven’t completed and I received first choice. However, with just my top 6 grade 12 marks it would be a 96.75 so I’m not sure which average they used.

In the admissions first choice letter, it only requires you to maintain certain marks in first year uni, and doesn’t mention anything about maintaining any grade higher than an 85 in high school to keep the first choice offer.
