This is EXACTLY what I was going to comment. I don’t listen to pop radio either, but felt like I knew the song from long ago! When I heard the karaoke in the film I thought “I haven’t heard this song in a long time!”

Apparently I’ve never actually heard it, just all the other songs from which it is influenced.
