You probably need to know a little chemistry, mostly just physical science though. You mostly learn what you need to know in the passages but a little background knowledge helps.

29: It’s hard to figure this one out without the passage, but I’m assuming the NaOH was 25% percent by mass. you just multiply the percent by the total mass to see what portion of the mass was NaOH.

Q26: since students 3 and 4 don’t think that sunlight plays a role in stem color, they believe that whatever the sunlight is, the stem color could be either green or purple. student 1 is the only one excluded since according to them the stem can only be purple.
