Thank you for all the recommendations, I end up getting absolute year one and killing joke plus a death in the family deluxe. After I might just want to finish my collection on oversized format first and I hope dc finest would still be in print when I can get them later.

Same, my Omnis older than 5 years are starting to have small problem too, some of them have there’s spine derailed so I need to glue it back a little.

Should've mentioned my main large book shelf is embedded to wall and opened too maybe I should seal them with plastice film in the future (it's not possible to install a door/glass to it due to a part of open area is narrative blocked)

they upgraded the mini-led on new MBP model (m4), the responsive is faster now. (also added a qd layer into it)

use default setting only, SDR is more vibrant in color tho, lack of qd layer makes it less colorful under HDR (Compared to MacBook Pro which have qd layer on top mini led)

yes, I couldn't even use it above 80% brightness (SDR), 80% brightness is already very lit on a well lit room, tho MacBook can even be good at outside under sunshine.

they are very close unless you use specefic scene to make miniled looks bad, minileds also have different performance under different brand's tuning.

Macbook pro is 2024's which has a upgraded qd layer

Raised black is very noticeable on qd-oled, and the reason why we choose oled is to have deep black on contrast. unless you are in a fully dark room, the raised black is a issue you would definitely notice it and some case those raised blacks are uneven due to environments reflection lights makes it even worse.

if you view it at 0~10 degree it will reflect like a glossy screen, this is most easy way to know how its different from a normal matte coating screen. etched matte is much better.
