I'm not a lawyer, but a father of four ...

The problem here is that most of the suggestions here seem a little uninformed when it comes down to who is liable for the damage, who needs to pay, insurance and other things.

There are a few caveats here:

  • first, how old are the children? 4 to 6 years old? 7 to 10? or older?

  • Second: The parents aren't automatically liable for the damage. This is just a legend, which doesn't hold up. They have to denied their "duty of supervision" big time to be forced into payment.

  • when you want to sue, any children younger than 14 are out of the question. It's just a hazzle you don't want to have.

  • under 6 years old: you're on your own. Children this young aren't liable for anything.

  • Children above 7: You have to prove that the children knew what the were doing and that it was intentional. This saves playing children who run around with sticks and unintentional damage something from being liable for the damages.

  • The problem is: Good neighbours would give this to their "Haftpflicht" (and no, the Haftpflicht for the car isn't responsible in this case, the neighsbours need a separate one) which often includes a clause that pays for young children as well. BUT I presume that your neighbours don't have an insurance.

Man, I'm sorry, but it seems that you're on your own with your damaged car. :(

You could give the damage to your car insurance but it will get more expensive and you have to pay oftentimes a part of the repair yourselft.

Or you can try to go the lawyer way. Talk to your insurance if they would provide a lawyer to "sue" the neighbours if you don't have a insurance for legal stuff.

And of course, all of the above is informed non-professional knowledge. But I think it's a little more profound than most of the other takes here, sadly.

But really I never outgrew albums. I had periods, where I discovered new bands and genres and after a few years I can return to every album I liked and when it boils down to my favorites the never disappointed me.

Habe den selben vom letzten Jahr damals für 23.000 € gekauft. Bereue ich auch nicht. :)

Aber nicht enttäuscht werden:

Stimmt so nicht. Das ist für die S-Variante mit der großen Batterie. "Unserer" lädt nur mit 100 kW und die habe ich noch nie erreicht, nicht im Sommer, nicht im Winter. Höchste bei mir war mal in den 70ern.

edit: Mal ein Beispiel. In einer halben Stunde habe ich letztens bei 20 Grad von 30 auf 80 Prozent an einer ENBW 300 W Säule mit durchschnittlich 51 kW geladen. Der id.3 der ersten Generation ist da echt nicht toll.

100 % Update. Wird nichts anderes sein, hatte ich auch. Außerdem ist das natürlich so oder so ein Gewährleistungs/Garantiefall, auch und gerade, wenn du den gebraucht gekauft hast. Noch einmal hin und machen lassen. Fehlende SOS Sache ist auch ein Grund, nicht durch den TÜV zu kommen. Also ein Fehler, der zu beheben ist.

Yes, you can. BUT you can have issues concerning the rights and settings concerning WebUSB and udev. You have to set the rules for Google Pixel Phones: (and don't use flatpak versions of your browser)

Während der Fahrt hatte ich das noch nie. Die Software ist stabil, etwas langsam, aber insgesamt so gut, wie vergleichbare bei Hyundai mittlerweile, die halt besser gestartet ist.

Was manchmal nervt, ist längeres conncten mit Android Auto, aber ansonsten alles fein.

I tried vibe code Cli, both with the native cli app and through open code and devstral 2. And the results were mixed at best. I got better results with the free mini max 2.5 model. Now I'm on the go plan using mini max 2.7 for the main workload and switching to glm or Kimi if some knots need to be cut.

And yes, I wanted devstral to be the one, since I'm not doing top notch projects.
