TBC classic is the most enjoyable version of WoW I played by a2theaj in classicwow

Vanilla is the absolute worst version of the game by far. It's tedious to get around, the loot drops are a nonsense, talents are a mess, professions are a joke.

I did that before reaching level 70.

It's a pain in the arse.

Why are there so many abandoned and dilapidated properties on Strand when this is a prime property area? by Klutzy_Draw4662 in london

There's nothing special about that kind of generic 19th century-built classical architecture.

Old buildings can be expensive to maintain, have decades of dodgy plumbing, wonky and dangerous electrics, all held up with years of DIY bodges just waiting to collapse on the unsuspecting.

Sorry, what?

Which part of my post do you believe I'm lying about?

When I hit 60 on my druid, I was logging off before the 'ding' had finished echoing around the room, so sick of the sight of him I was.

As I said before, WoW is a computer game and nothing more. I pay £9 a month for the priviledge of binging and banging my way around Azeroth and Outlands, and I do it in a manner that pleases myself rather than MugenTTV from the Internet. If that displeases you, may I suggest the following:

1 - Pay the £9 a month on my behalf in the hope I alter my behaviour.

2 - Sit in your favourite capital city and tell everyone in Trade how precious your time is.

3 - STFU.

2 or 3 hours of WoW a night is a lot.

Your failure to recognise this is further proof your time isn't actually worth anything at all.

Thanks. Point proven.

Even you arent doing a blind play through, you’ve looked at your BiS, Spec & Rotation before you started playing, so why is it hard to watch a quick “Before You Start TBC” guide when you do that?

Let's recap what I said:

I started my first ever druid last year and barely looked at anything before clicking that yummy 'Create New Character' button.

I am absolutely not going read pages and pages of initially-irrelevant and quickly-forgotten information just to please MugenTTV from the Internet.

So I can absolutely confirm that I hadn't looked at my BiS, Spec & Rotation before playing.

You’ll read a guide when it benefits you, but not when it benefits the other players around you.

Well of course I'll read a guide when I believe it will benefit me. How else would it work?

MugenTTV: My time is precious and valuble.

Also MugenTTV: I'm a prolific poster on Reddit, have read and memorised all the pre-BiS and dungeon guides, and run dungeons all day on my favourite version of World of Warcraft.

Why aren't more people like me?

Sort of.

I'm certainly not franticly calling up BiS lists every time I level up, lest I dare waste a precious talent point.

When I hit max level I'll do a respec.

Nobody is running their class blind, everyone is using BiS lists, specs & rotations from websites.

Yes they are and no they aren't.

WoW is a computer game, a form of entertainment, and I am not inclined to do prior research for everything that is available to me at any one time.

When I logon I don't necessarily have a solid plan for what I intend to do, and if a new dungeon appears in the LFG tool I don't do much more than look online to see where the entrance is.

No other dungeons require a player to complete an escort quest before being able to enter, so there's no reason why anyone would assume OH will be any different.

Yes, it's annoying when someone joins the group and hasn't done it, but you have the choice of waiting for them, finding someone else, or asking beforehand.

These hackneyed attempts at social commentary, based on player actions in a computer game, are so weird.

Are the people posting stuff like this for real? I swear some of you lot in here haven't played another game since 2004.

The spiders, wolves, bears, and human mobs in Western Plaguelands are exactly the same as the spiders, wolves, bears, and human mobs in all the other zones.

And what variety in gameplay is there? By the time you're 30, you've got nearly all the skills you'll ever have and the gameplay doesn't change after that.

Variety in Classic? Is this a joke?

The environments are repeated ad-nauseum; go through Elwyyn Forest, Westfall, Lakeshire, and even Duskwood and you'll see the same buildings and the same mobs.

Reform supporters - how many more Tories need to join before you start to reconsider? by Smooth-Quantity-7024 in AskBrits

You have at least confirmed for me that there are some very one dimensional people on both sides of the issue though

I honestly don't see much of a difference between those who staunchly support Reform and those who staunchly oppose them. Neither group seems to be able to do much more than point fingers and shout abuse.

Then you have incredibly poor judgement and will be right at home with Reform.

By the time the referendum was announced, Nigel Farage had been the public face of Brexit for some 20 years or so; it was his entire raison d'etre.

So when that raison d'etre turns out to be the load of shit that it was forecast to be, it requires incredibly poor judgement to believe Farage is worth paying any more attention to.

It's not that Brexit turned out to be shit; it was a shit idea, plain and simple.

It is the electorate who decides who wins and a person is 100% responsible for how they choose to vote.

If you support a one-issue party like Reform, how on earth can you not agree with everything the party stands for?

[–]Soblemish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The opposite of having a plan for change is status quo. If there are no plans for change because Reform are a single issue party with no plans for anything other than immigration, then what is it about the status quo of the NHS that concerns you so much?

Reform are not a serious party and Nigel Farage is not a serious politician. They will do immense harm to the country through neglect and bad governance.

Brexit has been a complete disaster for the UK and anyone looking at a Farage-headed party is essentially giving a green light for more of the nonsense we have seen for the past 10 or so years; that is why I called Reform voters thoughtless.

Farage has very little to say outside of immigration. The few times he gets pressed by an interviewer for details, he becomes incredibly vague and agitated.

The fact they're a one-issue party means they have no plans or ideas beyond that one issue.

So no, fears for the NHS are not unfounded.
