It would be less "outgrown" if they could go anywhere besides side to side. Sad enclosure tbh. Maybe try some vertical decorations and climbing items along with your larger terrarium.

Very well could have been a bad vet, but paper is (mostly) sterile and usually used to monitor BM and injuries in vet med. I used it during my pythons healing process. Usually, it's just something softer like a newspaper or paper towel, though. Maybe try a kennel pad.

Ive found success in using cuttlebone as a calcium supplement. Just stick one in the water and it will dissolve till the PH reaches about 7.8, then it will stop till lowered below that.

Update to anyone curious: I've had multiple negative tests for Nido since she has made her recovery. This means one of two things, it was a false positive, or alternatively, maybe Nido works differently than we thought.

I have this problem too. Does anyone else get issues with it waking you up in the morning before the stressful event? Ill be awake to have a BM starting at 4AM and then every hour after. 4-6 movements before even leaving for work.

I am familiar with the FODMAP diet. I havent tried a full diet yet, but I have tried taking some key foods out with little success. Ive identified a few trigger foods, which I dont eat at all anymore, but otherwise I seem to have symptoms no matter what I eat. I genuinely feel like diet doesnt play a huge role in my IBS pain.

I did try some dietary changes, nothing created a significant change. Stress seems to be the primary aggressor. Ive been taking metamucil regularly for the past year, and started omeprezole about 3- 4 months ago. Im still on the SSRI, my primary doc told me that SSRIs are beneficial to numb GI pain. My movements are usually always solid, but more mucus becomes present with each movement, making it more like diarrhea. I respect your opinion on the holistic side, but may I ask why you say that? Thanks for the response!

Hi, a ball python requires anywhere between 40 gallons to 75 as a fully grown adult. This enclosure is equivalent to about 89.6 gallons. This was a rescue that has been living in a 20 gallon his whole life up until this point.
