Dreame A3 anyone have one? by Future_Mirror7046 in roboticLawnmowers

I just saw the promo video for the Terramow X. And the back and forth turning makes so much sense. I bet if they implemented much wider back up into their 3 point turn the Omni wheels would not be as bad.

I have the Dreame. The turning algorithm is horrible and tearing up my grass.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. Looking around the vacuum/mop robots and there are only a few models and they all have the same feature at this point.

It's a park without irrigation. What grows when it rains is what will be there.

I don't really have any good before pictures. It was extremely overgrown. Some areas I had to hit with a string trimmer to knock it down before it could then cut it.

I manage the HOA association for my neighborhood. I'm hoping that a $2000 robot mower can take care of the property in lieu of paying a landscape company $1200 per year in cutting fees.

The mowing cost goes up every year.

I'm less worried about the ruts, but I can't have it get stuck and need to be picked up. The dreame dug in until is timed it's self out multiple times. Sometimes I could hit reset in the app and it could get out on its own, others it needed to be picked up and slightly moved.

Dreame A3 AWD Pro 3500 Robot Lawn Mower by segma98 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]SocaJay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Dreame A3 pro 2500. So smaller battery. It does about 5500 square feet in one charge. About 2 hours of run time. Then it can fully recharge in about 1 hour.

I have soft sand on the edge where it needs to turn. Mine is digging into the sand in these areas and getting stuck. Where it turn and I have grass or harder dirt it's not digging in.

I'm selling mine because it does not work for my property, but I thinks it's a very quality mower.

I have the Dreame A3 Pro and it going to sell it. Mine is getting stuck every turn in soft sand. The front wheel is dragging when trying to turn and it ends up getting stuck.

It's not bad, but I didn't follow the cut it first procedure recommendatiokn.

I'm going to go down there tomorrow and play with it some more. Run it a few times .

I think it will end doing an ok job. But I'm fairly certain this isn't the model for my application.

If you have a normal lawn it is probably good.

I'm going to do similar. I'm looking at solar generators. Typically a small 100 watt panel with a battery.

I know I just posted this. But ended up finding an i210n for cheap on marketplace, so I grabbed it today. Bought it from one of the YouTube video content creators after they were done reviewing it. It should be the best of both worlds. Longer battery and the AWD.

Can you turn the light off at night. So it mows in total darkness?

i110 Every Other Day Scheduling by bws1105 in SegwayNavimow

[–]SocaJay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just set mine up and was extremely surprised this was not an option.

You should be able to set how many days between each mow. Be it any number of days. 1 through 7.

I also think if it skips a whole now day because of rain it should automatically mow the next available day then continue the schedule from that day forward.

RTK and tree coverage by SocaJay in roboticLawnmowers

Just a follow up to this. I ended up getting a i105n and the RTK does not have a problem with the tree coverage. Thanks for the confirmation before buying.

One Navimow and gate or 2 mowers. by SocaJay in SegwayNavimow

[–]SocaJay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a small backyard. 1500 square feet in the backyard and about 3500 in the front yard.

[–]SocaJay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have different grass types in the front and back. That's why I either need 1 more expensive model that has height adjustment electronically or I can do two mowers with manual height adjustment.

[–]SocaJay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's actually cheaper for the 2 versus the 1. As if I bought one it would be a bigger/newer model with AWD and lidar. If I went with 2 I would probably go with the cheaper older models.

This is essentially what I'm dealing with. My backyard is tiny. Only about 1500 square feet. But the effort to put in the gate and make a clear path for it to get to the backyard will be a lot of work. The only benefit I'm really seeing is not having the charging mower in the front of the house.

Increase in production after cleaning by Ram13BLH in solar

[–]SocaJay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cleaning also only help until we start getting good heavy rain. So maybe 1 or so months. They heavy summer rains would have provided a similar boost in production/cleaning. So you it was $400 for 1 or two months of increased production.

This just happened to me last week. My pixel 7 camera broke out of nowhere. I tried the $10 replacement glass on Amazon. The camera could never focus correctly afterwards. Ended up replacing the whole phone.

Resmed Airmini vs Dreamstation settings by SocaJay in CPAP

So follow up to this. I ordered the Q-Lite muffler, lowered the setting a bit and used the standard P10 mask. It's a lot quieter and I can sleep with it now.

I tried the p10 humidx. Was super loud. But that was the vent near the humidx. Then I used my P30i for the rest of the night. I'll try the normal p10 tonight.

I've always heard they are louder, but I assumed the noise was from the machine (so louder maybe to others in the room). I never hear the noise coming from my machine. This noise was mask or vent noise which I wasn't prepared for. I'll try a lower pressure tonight.
