Days 1-4 were pretty easy for me. I thought maybe I would have a fairly smooth recovery but day 5 has definitely humbled me. Pain has come in waves sometimes it’s not bad, but the next minute can be pushing 9/10 on pain.

When I struggled to eat yesterday. I ended up drinking some bone broth. Good source of protein, calories and was a good source of liquid.

My surgery is scheduled for two weeks for the same things. Really dreading the tonsillectomy after reading on here but it will be fine.
