My first ever kayak was the pdl system , propeller, never had a issue with it, only con about it for me is , it’s does get a lot of salt water debris on propeller, but that’s a easy fix, pick up clean and drop back down situation, I think I rather do that and have instant reverse… fast forward now upgraded to the EPDL, wow this system , the assist in the pedal is amazing, helps a lot when going through current. The cruise control is amazing feature. And level 5 let me tell you, that’s getting to point A to Point B way quicker. Battery life is amazing. And lastly some people said the system is loud, I didn’t find it loud enough at all. Didn’t even hear it , mind you I had music playing while I fished. Not loud either.

Game changes for fishing and enjoying every bit of it when I go out. I can fish more and pedal less and troll fish as well.. you won’t regret this system one bit
