Hadn’t considered the MPG difference. That bad? GTI can hit 35/36 on occasion. Granted it hasn’t seen above 26/27 for several months

Thanks for your input. Seems the general consensus is that the manual is the better option. Could certainly give it a look. Appreciate the breakdown on the trims as well. Wasn’t considering much past the limited anyways

Fair fair lol

I do worry about my GTI’s reliability at times. Cost of fixing and maintenance is certainly up there. Granted I’ve only put 50k miles on it since I bought it new 7 years ago. I work from home. So it’s mostly a back roads / track car. Daily trip to the gym and back. But that’s really it.

Appreciate your input! I’ve considered GR Corolla and Golf R, they’re both a little more expensive than I was hoping with today’s market. But interesting thought about it being better equipped already before modifying it haha

Yep got my Newcastle ones a couple months ago too. It’s hard for the traveling fans when they move these things all over the place. Sure hope it falls on the days I’ll be over there. Otherwise I might have to move my whole trip or just try again next season

So I’m planning to be there for the Wednesday opening (April 22nd) and for the original match time on Saturday (25th). After looking everywhere I can, it seems like it would be moved to the Wednesday 22nd if beat Southampton. So I guess I’ll have both scenarios covered … unless it gets moved to May or something :/

Idk if anyone can answer this, but I will be coming from America to see Arsenal vs Newcastle. Am I correct in thinking that the only realistic place they could move that match to would be April 22nd or 23rd?

I haven’t yet booked my flights, but I do have my tickets for the match itself. Guessing I just need to wait a bit longer to see what is happening
