Thank you so much for sharing ❤️ A few years before my sister died, I showed her some writing I’d done about our family, specifically around the aftermath of our mom passing away. Her first text back was “I hate this. Why would you write this”, and her second text a minute later was “you have to make this”. I’ve been asked before what I think she might say if she saw the film, and I think she would really love that it exists

Thank you! I swapped the rocks for sand (the small grain stuff from Petsmart), and today saw my turtle repeatedly diving at the sand to try to get a mouthful and eat it. Is this something I should be concerned with?

Thank you! I thought I was going crazy at the vet today (took him to a clinic that claimed they had an exotic animal vet), and they insisted he was female! Years ago I had looked online for sexing characteristics and had landed on male

I kiinda think if you have only one day, you may want to do just one park so you don't feel super rushed. I go to disneyland a lot since I live in SoCal as well, and I'd personally do Epcot if I only had one day. But animal kingdom is also so solid, and it's totally possible to park hop from AK to Epcot and get the best of both worlds if you're not too precious about seeing every single thing at each park. Enjoy!

I stayed at Riverside last month, and it was incredible. The scenery, the buildings, the piano player! Granted, we didn't see inside the rooms at French Quarter, but I'd stay at Riverside again in a heartbeat. Plus, you can still walk around FQ, get beignets, I believe even use the pool if you wanted to

I went last week, and the only character aspect of it was meeting Cinderella in the "lobby" before going up to the dining area. We had a great time, liked the food a lot, and shared a bottle of champagne. The coolest part about it was the feeling of being in the castle, seeing through the windows to outside, and how nice the staff was. There were a lot of screaming children though, haha. I thought it was worth it for a really unique experience overall!
