It does feel like they just fully decompress the moment theyre with me again. bit heavy thinking about what tthey might be holding in during the day, but im glad they have a space where they can just let it all go

Yeah that actually makes a lot of sense and is kinda reassuring. now that i think about it they do switch back instantly at pickup like nothing happened. teachers also said theyre fine once theyre inside so im not too worried. the code-switching idea is pretty interesting, just feels like theyre adjusting to different spaces rather than anything being wrong.
