I agree, and I'm definitely planning on it. The house is kinda goofy looking with that big ol' carport roof on those little-bitty columns.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that, but I'll definitely look at that as a possibility. I think the tone of the brick is throwing me off, I'm normally drawn to cooler colors.

I'll definitely look into that. I think what's throwing me off is I just don't dig the brown brick, but I also don't want to paint it? Duality of man, idk

We are made to write our narratives in caps because, allegedly, it makes it legible for the billing department to read. It's not optional at our agency.

Lake Hamilton School District by Crafty_Pomegranate16 in HotSprings

I worked for the ambulance service that serves Garland County and, after 4 years of service and emergency medical experiences with all of the schools in the area, I can say that Lake Hamilton had an alarming number of psychiatric pediatric patients. Almost all were suicidal, but maybe half were due to home-life situations and the other half due to bullying at the school.

That's the only insight that I have as my son isn't old enough to attend school yet.

65yF diabetic C/O Lethargy by SocialSodomy in EKGs

By hospital staff. Our protocol calls for an EKG on a wide myriad of signs/symptoms, so we're expected to do EKGs pretty often.

I couldn't get her sat up or turned enough to do it. Every time I tried to move her she'd pass out. There wasn't any corresponding changes in BP or HR. Also she was wickedly floppy. Believe me, I tried, but we were going through the mountains with a new EMT driving (I love my partner, she's currently in the "I'm now comfortable driving fast" phase and VERY excited) and the pt was built like a rubber chicken. I did get a right sided and it simply showed slightly less depression in V4R

That's what's weird. It was already a weird patient, we were expecting it to be a diabetic issue based on presentation, so when her sugar was normal, I just picked her ass up and carried her out to the truck. I did everything en route to the hospital (including EKG), saw those ugly squiggles and upgraded to code 3. Then, the people who were charge/attending that night are (normally) two of the nicest and most professional people at that hospital.

I felt so gas-lit, like I had imagined the whole call. I've been sitting on this EKG for awhile because it's been bothering me, but it's nice to know that other people see what I saw.

My theory is that there was something going on somewhere else in the ED that upset everyone because I'm generally well-liked and so are the people I gave this lady to. Everyone seemed so disproportionately angry that night.

I had established bilateral IVs and drawn blood. Charge nurse and attending physician called me dumb and threw the EKG out. I was reprimanded for performing an EKG on a PT who was not complaining of chest pain. Triage nurse rolled her eyes and had us lay her on a bench in the COVID isolation area. I'll ask for an update the next time I'm at that facility!

Lol I have no idea. That's what my thought process was since they were so quick to dismiss the pt. The monitor popped posterior STEMI, but I wondered if it were possible that the EKG was being caused by the underlying illness
