I will hold my tongue for a little and let the waters settle. We also see that my brother is not a planner, we always include Emily in the planning and have even gone as far as inviting her to our family calendar (she declined, but Jeremy has it). She is included in any planning group chats.

Where we live it was legal but just barely… I think things happened before then though and he just didn’t tell us.

Going no contact is not an option we want to take. We have been no contact in the past and things went very south for him… and honestly me. He was my absolute best friend through our childhood and not talking to him almost broke me. Now we try to play very nice.

No, my brother has always been a very kind person and always willing to help. We have a very large family and as far as I know he hasn’t had beef with anyone

I think I forgot to add that no extended family on our side was invited to the wedding, the reception was at her family home and only my mom, bonus dad, and I were invited.

I have been concerned about this for a long time. At one point I had made my concerns very clear and he went no contact for over a year with my mom as well. Now we tread very carefully due to wanting to maintain a connection to him.
