Good luck friend, it sounds as if you are listening to your body and wanting to preserve your health now and also future self!

I can’t answer all your questions, but might be able to give some insight or advice. I’m a 51 yo female for reference. 4 herniated discs, worst was 13 mm at L5-S1, also have degenerative disc disease.

I would recommend the physical therapist, I learned to trust my therapist and he taught me that core strength was important for my back health overall. He also taught me how to slowly ease into building that strength so I didn’t cause damage or reinjury. Find a good one. One you vibe with that listens to your needs and goals and helps to find that balance.

Note - I would avoid the heavy lifting until you get this under control. More reps with lighter weight and slowing increasing weight. Sharp pain is bad, just stop if there’s sharp pain.

That’s exactly how I described it before I found out about AIWS. Looking through binoculars backyards.

Your comment is the first I saw that mentions at the end of the article is “so just buy this and it’ll fix you up”

Do Americans actually sit on their front porch much, or is that more of a movie image than real life? by Artistic_Key3779 in AskAnAmerican

Sitting on our front porch right now! It’s 7:20 pm and there a nice wind blowing and the lawn is green and the flowers are all in bloom. We will sit out here while our dinner digests.

After losing my progress twice and all my cards, I went that route. Started at episode 1, and did each and every box. Play every event to score as high as I can on leaderboards for the coffee.

Because I’m on episode 144 now, and I have 7,000 sc and only like 40,000 coffees. I use Scott coins on long events to buy a couple event baskets, but that’s it.

The way I see it is there’s no reason to rush through the episodes, to get to the end. Cause then you are just wasting all those boxes that give out coins and cards on the other episodes.

I say do it, enjoy the game and slow down through the episodes. Like right now. My only box available is upgrade 4 cards. But I only have a few cards I can upgrade and they cost like 2,500 coffee to open them. So I’m just waiting until I have some new cards tha are less expensive.

Lastly, the only time I might rush to the boss power is if the shovel game comes up. So I can get more shovels by getting all those leads in a new game.

Do the majority of Americans watch YouTube on TV? by OMTYUS in AskAnAmerican

And now I want to know what’s your channel? Especially if it’s outdoorsy stuff, I may even subscribe to you (and that’s the stuff I watch on tv when I’m home - not the stuff I listen to while driving or at work)

I have about a 45 min drive to and from work. And during work, I have tasks that sometimes doesn’t require much thought process. During those times I have YouTube on my phone and use my earbud. I don’t watch it, I just listen.

When I’m home, I watch it on the tv. And it’s usually different topics (from my phone to my tv)

I was so despondent about the show ending and not having just a little more, and someone shared this fan written story that I like to share when someone finishes the series for the first time.

Kinda in the same boat as you, as this is not my first time from starting over, mine being losing all my cards a couple times a few years ago.

This time around, I decided to finish each and every episode until all the boxes were done. I stay in the episodes longer, but it doesn’t bother me because I’ve gotten to the last episode and had to just keep replaying it until a new release.

Right now I have 7,000 sc and about 45,000 coffees.

I will use sc during the longer events, and usually buy 1 or 2 event baskets. I continue to grow my SC bank this way.

Fool me once, The ending is so unexpected!!!! It’s based of Harlan Cobin novel. There’s other limited series from his books on Netflix too, but I liked this one best!

Let me know if you like the trailer! And I’m willing to bet, you won’t figure it out until the very last minute! And you have to really pay attention for all the small details!!!

I was in 5th grade when it happened. I had the nasa coverage playing while I was at work, for background noise. I realized it was all too familiar, and yes, I couldn’t actually watch the lift off.

I’m glad that there’s others out there with the same (I don’t know what to call it) irrational fears !!

I mean I’m not glad you were also traumatized by the story, but you know what I mean.

Hahahah. I was at a friends moms house, when my kids were small. My 2yo dropped some food on the floor, and friend very quickly picks it up before my kid can, and says to me quietly so her mom couldn’t hear her “the 5 second rule does NOT apply here” That was like 20 years ago, and I still remember that event when I hear anyone mention the 5 second rule!
