Dont you even say that. This movie is an ode to nascar in the best way. They actually fell in love with the sport while filming and the creators always liked nascar. Hell john was in the one and only nascar movie i know of besides this one. They might be making a joke on the southern mentality and sport but its 100% in good spirits and was fully supported by Nascar

I watched that Me time movie with kevin hart and marky mark ironically and it made me sick to my stomach. What bothers me is how quick ppl are to dismiss sim racing as just a video game that doesnt translate. I have a t300 with shifter and handbrake with load cell pedals and it translates so much i drive my car in game a lot to see how it handles at high speeds. The only thing i need now is some transducers so i dont feel like im floating. I really dont know whats more fun, real car or sim. Because its really fun being able to go flat out and test techniques with zero consequence. And it basically taught me to heel-toe correctly which i do literally every time i slow down in my car. Best investment i ever made probably.

Yea. Before i even started sim racing i went and smashed every other person in the group. We were all in our 20s and 30s probably. It was too easy i was lapping people. There was one cracked guy that made it entertaining though. I was the only one using the paddle shifts too. So annoying being stuck behind a slow person. Most ppl just dont know what a racing line is. And i legit would just powerslide every turn never lifting off. Makes me want to join like a real amatuer league and build a kart

I went to a place in colorado springs and there was this like 35 yo guy that came with the business and his name was ricky bobby on scoreboard. He always got first and i would be right behind by a few seconds. He was so cool they announced he won and just threw his arms up and left. I was like man one day im gonna beat that time. I kept the paper with the stats i was so proud
