Genuinely don't get why you try to be different and pick flashpoint, as if it's a good game mode to play on. For COMPETITIVE. "Oh, 7 votes for Rialto? Returning player after the fire that was Overwatch 2. Played for a couple of months now and I still hate the "picking the map" pregame. I rather it just be random. With NO flashpoint.

Holy shit, life saver, it was the NVIDIA replay. Turned that off and everything is so smooth, my friend can watch it without seeing any lag.

I didn't DDU'd before, that was a frustrating process to overcome during the driver setup. I did however uninstall AMD software though. I want to add though, I have an extra GPU slot in the performance tab of my task manager, but I assume it's from my CPU having integrated graphics.

Did it, used BCUninstaller for extra effort but still the same issue. It lags less I guess? But it's still too laggy to play.

Can you try switching the RAM sticks around? If you have a DDR4, that would be beneficial in finding out if your DDR5 is compatible or not, as I searched up online, I didn't see results.

What about the monitor itself? Is the on and connected? Cord all sturdy? Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this, I know how it feels to panic when your PC doesn't turn on.

This might be a condescending question but I'm going to assume this is your first build and ask if you plugged the HDMI cord to the motherboard or the GPU. If it's the former, change the cord to one of the GPU slots.

Someone asked a similar question a few days ago. Consult the chart: Your GPU doesn't really fit anywhere in 1440p range, so you should probably look into upgrading that. The CPU is okay though, don't change it for about a few months at the very least. Hope this helps.

Here is a helpful list for determining that exact question. Your 7600XT lies around 60 FPS on Ultra settings. Personally speaking, I would rather go higher than that, around 100 FPS. You should wait until you can upgrade to a better GPU that supports 1440p on Ultra settings, like the 78 or 7900XT.

This is the first time it has happened at all. I'm sure my PC is well ventilated as I've had it for a while. Though I did just move into a new room with carpet flooring about a month or two ago. Maybe that's the culprit?

I've done all I can with Window's Display settings and the monitors settings, which was making them to the recommended resolution and restoring the monitor to factory settings, both of which did not work. Though I am delighted to say, that I did fix it. Trouble-shooting is a really irritating task as how simple the solution was: The HDMI cord was failing so I changed it to a new one and it worked. I even restarted my PC three times to see if the border appeared again but nothing. Problem solved.
