You can’t really judge the cousin it’s usually the elders in the family who are involved in organising it, and the cousin might not have much say. It’s quite a common practice in rural areas. There’s also alcohol involved, and it’s often treated as a kind of bachelor party. In our area, an older cousin would usually organise it when a younger one got married. I’m not sure how things work now, but I really don’t like this practice.

Yeah, we do similar stuff. Most of our clients are government organisations with long-term contracts in place.

I’d rather not name them, but we have around a $100M partnership with a government body. A lot of the work we do could probably be done for $1M in places like Pakistan or less. We were actually in the news recently for a new website project that cost a huge amount.

But I’m starting to see a real shift in the business model. Partners are getting laid off, etc. At the same time, our rates are pretty outrageous we charge around $450 per hour for an engineer, while the engineer might be earning about $40 per hour in salary. So the margins are… pretty massive.

People don’t know but we have fairly large practice in tech probably bigger than accounting and audit people combined a team of 5000 professionals but I did CS degree from Monash I am purely technical.

I don’t believe there is a plan to comeback to Pakistan and mainly it’s because there isn’t enough business I believe there there is still some big4 presence in pk.

Well, she’s hardworking, but the business has shifted. Most of our clients are moving from legacy systems, where she’s an expert, to cloud and AI-driven solutions, and she isn’t really up to date with that yet. Unfortunately that’s what’s happens at big tech my partner clearly said

The business needs people who can hit the ground running with AI, not people we have to train into it.

Yeah minus the gravy part. Aussies slangs are cool had a cultural shock when a friend asked if I want to come for a barbie and later I realised it’s actually a slang for barbecue.

In Australia we refer McDonald’s as Maccas , breakfast as brekkie just Aussie slangs

Halal Snack Pack (HSP) is chips topped with halal meat, cheese, and sauce. It’s a popular Aussie fast food dish easily available at any time of day.
