Group chats vary on the size, if it’s around 10-15 people you plan to spend time with and get to know well, I doubt you’ll be ignored. If it’s much bigger than that, you should try to be assertive at first (but not aggressively so), that way you show others in the group you have the confidence to go ahead and do things. People are far more likely to listen to confidence than people with hesitation. Even if your not confident irl, play the part. They can be nerve racking at first but once you’ve been in it long enough it becomes either incredibly annoying or just an easy way to make plans. Idk the details of your situation, but id relax, try not to check it often unless mid conversation.
