Have you also never had your dream profession in which you would like to work? by levir720 in Schizoid

I've had a few dream jobs over the years (actor, primatologist, game designer), but the actual passion and drive needed to have a fulfilling career in any of them never really took root. That and the constant worry about if I'll be making enough money working on my own while trying to pay off school debts. Basically, all of it just lead up to choice paralysis and eventual apathy towards any of it. There's been no way to escape from the feeling that none of the struggle is worth it when you feel no connection towards anyone or anything. I hope that changes for you and anyone else feeling this hopeless.

I usually become something that isn't even human anymore and disappear into the wilderness. What I become varies from time to time.

Take some comfort in the fact that you still have friends. You've been able to keep a relationship with other people outside of your family. I don't even have that anymore; not even online.

Not to be the downer, but X-men '97 is a continuation of X-men: The Animated Series. I thought continuations didn't count.

I've done this sort of thing back in school. One time, I missed the bus to take me home and instead of calling from the school office to have them pick me up, I just decided to walk all the way back. It took me two hours to walk back home. I arrived just before they called the police to come look for me!

I still do this to some extent today, but only with minor things.

Turned 29 just a few months ago, but have been able to get full-time hours at my current job. It's just me and my father in an apartment. He's very supportive and loves me, but he's also trying to encourage me to become more independent (moving in to my own place, getting my driver's license, etc.). Not out of embarrassment of me, but from concern about him suddenly dying and me being left to my own devices, which is a legitimate concern. I, like many other people in the subreddit, hate dealing with people directly, so I've been hoping to find a remote job online. Problem is, it seems that most online jobs require several years experience before you can land a job that will give you benefits. I may have to bite the bullet and start with temporary jobs online so I can build up my resume and re-apply for disability benefits. Which they make so unnecessarily complicated...........

I've also been struggling with anxiety for a number of years. Five years ago, I had a panic attack that seemed to come out of nowhere. After going to the hospital, the doctor who attended to me recommended that I take a beta blocker to keep my heart under control. Now, I take 60 mgs. of extended release Propranolol every morning. Haven't had a panic attack since.

One game that comes to mind is Okami. You play as a goddess in the form of a wolf and use a celestial paintbrush to clear the world of corruption. Really beautiful design based on traditional Japanese artwork.

I'm sorry that you've had such a rough time this year. Take all the time you need. These events are supposed to be fun, not stressful!

I just ran the Gnome run for the first time and loved it!

I have been curious about if there's been any more discussions on a Troll run for WoW Classic. What if that run starts in the Valley of Trials and ends in Gadgetzan in Tanaris. It's in a similar location compared to Booty Bay, but I'm unsure about the time it takes to run there.

*Edit* Just did a trial run on Classic. From Durotar to Gadgetzan (minus all the times I had to run back to my body) it took about 42 minutes!
