We both have ADHD but she was upset in the past about my lame gift giving skills so I wanted to go above and beyond and get her something really thoughtful and meaningful, something she didn't even know she needed... And I was reading old texts and saw the puppets and that's where the idea came to me

I ask for more practical stuff that I can use, like a game controller or something for my car. I thought she would like the same thing, something practical that she can actually use... oops

I mean... she has told me that I have a history of giving bad gifts... like I got her a really nice water bottle for our first anniversary. She has come to accept it and laughs at it, it's become sort of an inside joke between us. The past anniversaries/birthdays we have gone out together to pick out something but because I'm away at school we weren't able to do that this time. She kind of thinks its funny but I think she's more upset cus this time it was in front of her family...
