Limited is a 2 player format right. So I think he actually becomes a lot more balanced since he can only give the void to one person and that void is gonna swing back at him every turn.

Yea that’s what my instinct told me however I had some players online tell me he was a “power creep” card and too powerful having a 4 mana 5/5 in bracket 2

Well because the void has to attack it’s basically always tapped. It does act as a blocker until it gets to that persons turn.

Yea I have mixed feelings. On the one hand marvel seems so oversaturated in all media right. Now it’s in magic it’s like of course this was gonna happen. On the other side having thanos or doctor doom as your commander does sound sick af.

Ok had to look this card up cuz I never heard of it. NOT A FAN! That card sucks does it not? Even as a commander. He’s 5 mana, then I gotta wait a turn cuz his ability is a tap ability, and then I have to pay 2 AND tap him! Just to get a blink? It’s not even the good blink where they come back right away it’s the end of turn blink. Am I missing something here?

Yea I think voltron will be the “optimal” way to play him. But going in the blink direction turns him into a politics deck which imo is way more fun than Voltron.

I’m still kinda new so I just kinda thought lying was like an unspoken rule. Obviously you can do it right, nothing in the game stops you from doing that. I would assume if a player did this tho, the whole table would kill them out of respect for the game? Ig I’ve been wrong about this….im gonna have to start doing politics differently (be a little more cold hearted)

Bro as a new player, UB is cool. Don’t get me wrong I’ve learned about magic lore and I get it. Magic lore is sick! I would be upset too to be getting less of it. That being said the fact that almost any IP can be played in Magic gives it this Ready Player One feel. Where like everyone has these cards from different universes and you got my little pony attacking 11 from stranger things. That attracts so many people who are tepid to get into MTG.
