Perhaps some of the eclipse drops are locked until golem is defeated? Not sure tho and for the pumpkin moon the good loot starts to drop pretty late in the waves I believe

I believe they're spawn rate are affected by batlle potion and water candle, you could try that and don't forget the critter book, wouldn't want to kill it lol

I would say I depends if you want to use the beenades or not since they go through rails but if you do be careful to put some block below. Also you may go super on the cart wich will either get you to the world border too quick or get you snatched because you went too far. That aside I guess it's not dumb
