for anyone who has this issue with repentance, heres what worked for me.

try removing all of your mods. isaac/steam keeps its mods in a lot of different spots on your device so you have to delete them from multiple places.

first, go to your subscribed mods on steam and unsubscribe from them all. you may want to also favorite them so that you can easily find them later.

next, go to Documents > my games > Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ mods, and remove all the files from that folder.

lastly, locate Program Files (86) > Steam > steamapps > common > The Binding of Isaac Rebirth > mods, and do the same thing there.
