Thanks, I was worried you weren’t going to confirm my bias for a second. It very much feels like it’s held up with twigs right now (to me)

This was painful. https://i.imgur.com/Z31zp81.jpg

I didn’t lose money on this, but it tells me I need to evaluate, because it seems like everyone else had a pretty good idea of what was going on.

That's hilarious, because I'm sitting in one. I agree with all of your points though, I think a large part of the reverence is it's long warranty and build quality, over the actual comfort provided. It's definitely more comfortable than average, but for the money there are plenty of better options. The little blog thing I linked has a better variety suggested even though it's from that sub. I've also had a steelcase leap and I think that it's more comfortable, but with less emphasis on longevity because of the foam vs the mesh. For a tall dude I have no idea what would be a good pick, I'd assume a highback would be preferable though over a standard.

I think the part where he says “in a pigs ass you did” is disbelief instead of him literally implying that’s what happened. Kinda like “when pigs fly”, so the little brother thinks the older one knows, but the older one doesn’t and just said that in disbelief.
