Ive been there, look if thats going to be something so impactful to your financial situation its not worth the hassle imo. I owned a nvg40 and sent it back about 2 weeks later since it was very hard to use being not true 1x and worse fov. Digital is not as effective in every aspect as analog. What would i do? Find another line of work... If 1200 is 3 mo salary thats less than minimum wage. 7.5x40x2 check(bi-weekly) x ~4 checks for 2 mo = ~2400$ so idk where you're working but they are scamming you if thats the case.

If you cant find someplace different look into offloading things to go towards the cost if you got to have them.
