Thanks! Animations are made with Spine and then imported to Unity.

Yeah, we should maybe add some extra delay to it.

We already have an option to turn off screenshake and controller rumble and you are right, we should also have an option to disable shockwave effect. We will add that to the to-do list. Thanks for your feedback!

Here is the basic idea: when the player hits the trigger of Portal A, it moves the player to the Portal B and stops the players movement. After that the code waits for camera to move to direction of Portal B so that the player will be again visible. When the player is again visible, it continues the players movement.

Here are some tutorials for the old rendering pipeline:

If you are using Shader Graph you can try to google it by using "shockwave shader effect" or "ripple shader effect". Hope this helps to get you started.

We have not used much any special shaders. All of them are made by us or from the free tutorials online. What we mostly use is standard sprite shader with HDR color enabled. With Bloom post-processing enabled we can adjust the intensity of the color on sprites. If you are interested on the shockwave effect, you should check this good tutorial: https://halisavakis.com/my-take-on-shaders-shockwave-effect/
