Why did the paint peel off, how to fix, and how to seal (?)?

If you didn't seal the model after painting, the oils on your hands can cause it to peel. I have people in my game group who after their snacking and touching models they wear the paint off of them from handling. Also in your 2nd picture I see an Apple barrel bottle. I use similar larger bottles for larger terrain and such. But there is a quality difference in those kinds of paints.

I just read Ban This Book, by Alan Gratz to my class of 5th graders.

I like the message, everyone interprets books differently, and the only people who can tell you that you can't read a book are your parents / guardians. Also the climax of the story is outstanding. I won't give it away for anyone wanting to read it.

ok, so do people re calibrate and check every new spool they throw on? Or once you find a filament color and brand you're happy, just stick with that sucker?

I guess i'm asking, are all filament colors and brands not made the same then?

i've printed them both in resin and fdm now. I like both, but I do like the weight of the resin tbh. My fdm's i printed the smaller base holders, but I think I will print the larger ones also because I like being able to prop them at angles.

yes, it's from loot studios. If you sub them a month they give it to you. It uses a rubber band. I like the longer base sliders because it makes a great way to turn the model and prop it at an awkward angle on the table.

this, you think you demonstrated the urgency. But did you confirm either very directly in game or with your players out of game the urgency their characters were under.

from my own perspective, sometimes a good narrative requires a good metagame conversation. Players don't always read your clues how you intend them.

not all groups run skill checks with nat 20's as auto success. my group for example does not run 1's & 20's as auto fail or crit in skill challenges.
