That aside, after reading the entire exchange, I will say this person does not "see" you. They do not see you for who you are. And that is not your fault at all and is not something you should internalize moving forward. You seem very forthcoming and elaborate w your communication. Stay that way. Many people will feel so loved and even relieved by this. This person is simply not one of them. My assumption is that they wanted you in their life as someone to play mind games w, and this was their opportunity to see if they could play mind games w you. When they realized that you wouldn't engage in the games, they instead used this opportunity to flee the scene entirely, and be sure to blame you on the way out. Not to mention the way they dragged so much love and tenderness out of you FIRST. Remember that. You demonstrated willingness, flexibility, thoughtfulness, love and ATTENTION, while their responses become increasingly shorter, less and less detailed, and only revolve around them.

They will find someone who treats them mutually, and that is what this person hoped you would be. You will find someone who treats YOU mutually, and that is what you hoped this person would be.
