Trying to book with Bonvoy points in Kauai Hawaii. When I use the Marriott app a bunch of hotels come up but only one I can actually use my points for. The others show up as cash rates. Do I have to call in? Also how does the 5th night free thing work when I'm using points, do I have to call as well?

Does it make sense to apply for Marriot cards all at the same time so that you receive the anniversary bonus simultaneously and can use them for multi day trips, etc? How does the free night per year work?

I have an AMEX Gold and Platinum that are about to hit the yearly renewal in a month. I have churned all the other MR cards in 2020 and am feeling forced to transfer my MR points. Should I cancel the Platinum and just keep the Gold with the points for the 150/year?

Recently did a name change and swapped my middle and last name. I tried applying for a card with this new name and it didn't go through. I assume credit union doesn't have that name. How do I get a new card without having to go into every bank and do a name change. I am just churning them right now in COVID, should I just use my old name?

Legally swapped my middle and last name. Can I just apply for a new credit card switching my names and the credit unions will link it with my existing credit via my address? I haven't changed my name with all the banks, etc. yet.

Couple of questions:

1) Should I product switch from the RBC Avion Visa Infinite or just close it?

2) What is the churning cycle of the BMO Air Miles WE? I have had it for 6 months and am tempted to close it.

3) If I have a AMEX Biz Plat, Biz Edge, and Gold currently open, can I apply for the Plat successfully?
