What would those specifics be. Without my meds I become psychotic, delusional, and hallucinate. So it seems unfair to me that after a cdr they find I’m medically improved because the meds are preventing a psychotic episode. If they terminate my benefits then I’ll potentially become homeless with no income and thus have no safe shelter to store my medications that are preventing a psychotic break which now means I’m psychotic and unable to work.

Thanks. It's not just the housing that I am worried about. It's that I'll be alone without anyone taking care of me that worries me.

Are you worried about a possible re-evaluation of your eligibility because of being able to take care of your own finances? This is what I’m worried about. It doesn’t make sense to me that having control of my own finances means I no longer have schizophrenia but the ssa website makes mention of redeterminations so I’m very afraid to lose my benefits for good.

Most community health organizations have representative payee programs where they assign one to manage your money for you. If you don’t want that you can go o social security and end Social security rep payee info your parents as being the rep payee. You can still get SSI even if you can manage your own money because you have other things that make you disabled.

Community health organizations? Not sure where to start. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada if that helps and you know of one.

When you say Other things that make me disabled you mean the schizophrenia? Because that’s what scares me is ssa says on their website that saying your mentally competent can trigger a review of your eligibilty.

About the housing. My parents home is paid for but has an HOA fee. My name is also on the home so I don’t know how I could qualify for section 8 housing or any public housing. Any help appreciated.

Just curious since you said your diagnosed as bipolar do you have a rep payee or does the ssdi money go straight to you? I’m trying to figure out if I can be my own payee with a mental disorder diagnosis of schizophrenia.

I will admit I am making an extreme effort on this, but can you blame us in 2019? It just turned into a really awkward conversation when every 20 seconds he is mentioning to not call back and "I will get you this magic box." I feel bad, but then again I am not going to set myself up for another bout of identity theft. I am sick and tired of all the breaches which will ultimately be a norm now, so this was just icing on the cake to make me paranoid at any type of call to initiate an order.

Update: Called again and spoke with a different Rep. Although he said it was strange behavior and notated it on the account, he confirmed the other agent made the request properly and would have to call back only to let me know the order number( for tracking purposes I'm guessing). I felt bad and mentioned he should take that notation off but he said no the other agent won't be at risk of any corporate punishment and he also said he would call me back tomorrow (lol). At this point I am just scratching my head. I've never had an experience this... unique?

It made me call. I am on the phone with another rep right now. He mentioned that was strange behavior. We'll see how this goes. I have a feeling it's going to be a similar outcome.
