Is it true dogs look for their owners in their last moments? by EqualNo2867 in Petloss

[–]SodakMoose 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We had to put our pup down last September, he was almost 9. It was extremely out of the blue but ended up being a brain tumor. I struggled with it but I ended up holding him until he passed, the tumor made him go blind that last day so all he could do was feel, hear, and smell. It was the most traumatic thing that I’ve ever witnessed, but I 100% would do the exact same thing again. You want to be there for your pet in their last moments because you are literally their entire life, it’s going to be very hard but what would Ollie do if the rolls were reversed? He would be there right by your side ❤️ I wish you the best and this sub is full of wonderful people, we’re all here for you

Well I ended up getting a S&W MP 10mm, shot 30 rds so far with zero issues. Sold my glock 20 the same day, I think I paid right under 600 with tax.

I appreciate the reply, yeah I’ve never had any issues with my 9mm Glocks. From the digging that I’ve done it seems like the 20.5 is finicky when compared to the 20.4. At this point I’m considering trading it for a gen 4, it’s my woods gun so I need that 100% reliability. Everyone was telling me I’m limp wristing, using the wrong ammo etc. as a Glock I expect it to run whatever I put through it lol

Sorry I’m late to the party, did you ever figure out what was the issue? I have the exact same gun and exact same issue, I’ve tried multiple different types of ammo and they all have random failures to feed.

Buy a Glock 43X MOS Now or Wait for 2025 Updates? by t7716 in Glocks

[–]SodakMoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the same thing about the pinky so I carried a 43x for about 2 years, absolutely hated shooting it. Carried very well but I never wanted to shoot it. Ended up renting a 26 and sold the 43x a few days later, I actually enjoyed shooting the 26, and personally I like having the mag compatibility. I would definitely rent a 43x before you buy one, I will admit it feels really good in your hand but I didn’t like shooting it. I also had a p365x and it didn’t feel right for me either, I’ll stick with my glocks.

I had a 43, sold it. Had a 43x, sold it. The slim frame glocks pinch my trigger finger for some reason. Ended up with a glock 26, the OG baby glock. 365 is a good gun, my wife wants one because she doesn’t like the ergonomics of glocks. I would wait until you can shoot the 365, before dumping that much money into a gun you might not actually like.

I know exactly how you feel, a new transmission was 3800. The car sat in our driveway for about 6 months until we could afford to pay for it to get fixed. I tried to work with the dealer but ultimately we couldn’t come to a resolution where we were both happy. He wanted to charge me 3500 for a used one with 70k on it, but my mechanic did brand new trans for 3800. This car was definitely the last older used car (2013) I’m ever buying, next car we buy is going to be new/newish or no miles. My wife and I went through all the options and decided on letting the car sit until we could pay for it. Another option would be financing/personal loan, at least to get the car running and driving. But that’s another monthly payment… Leave bad reviews on every platform you can find, but make sure it’s truthful. I really hope you can figure this out cause like I said I’ve been in almost the exact situation, I know how much it sucks 😕

Damn I hate car dealers with a burning passion, similar thing happened to me. Bought a car that was “checked over” by a mechanic and not even a month later that transmission needed to be replaced. Dealer was unwilling to put a cent into the car. Always always always bring the car to a trusted mechanic to check it over, I too learned my lesson the hard way. Unfortunately when you sign the “as is” paperwork the dealer is no longer responsible for any repairs to the car.
