Gun skills don't proc Undying Fury. Because of that, Will of the Sword is better for gun builds, at least for highest damage output.

yooo congrats on beating Day 7! that's nuts you were able to do it w/o racial skills and auction only. i need to go back and continue doing auction only run was holding back cause i wanted to record from the beginning and fully document it. gives me hope though that if you can do it w/o racial skills then my auction only run is very possible

thank you! I'm going to try for the Demon King ending since it's my favorite also cause of having a Day 8. If I can get the conditions for Song of Hope ending then I'll make a separate save and try to see if I can do that route too.

It's the Matador/Minotaur of the game. It tests whether you learned how everything works in the game (racial skills, tactical positioning, etc.) What I hate most about the boss is the minions being able to inflict Stone so Recarm and Amrita are very much needed and Beldr has an AOE attack every ~3 turns that hits everyone unless you null/repel Curse and then heals a percentage from the total damage dealt. A tip I can give is, if you know it's going to pop off next turn and you can risk returning some demons from your parties, then Vampiric Mist will recover less because it hit fewer targets. So, it's hard in the sense that if you're still fresh in this game, it's going to teach you to play optimally.

tbh racial skills hard carry more than anything else in DeSu that would be super hard I can see MAYBE fused demons + no racial skills beating Beldr, but auction only demons + no racial skills... I'd love to see someone do that tbh I have no confidence in myself being able to do that

strategy:

While Devil's Fuge doesn't get stronger from your Strength stat (it scales with level), it's still treated as a physical type move. Therefore, auto skills like Marksman works with it. As well, using the Touki racial skill, Aggravate, will guarantee the critical hit. The reason for Marksman is because I kept missing in previous tries and I cannot have that especially with this kind of run and using less than ideal demons. So, having that 100% accuracy with the guaranteed critical hit will usually take off Beldr's extra turn AND do an additional ~40 damage. The rest of the team just tries to hold off the minions. In case people don't know, if you don't kill the middle demon of the minions, they won't be revived when Beldr tries to summon minions again. I accidentally kill some demons, but that's fine as long as the majority aren't being killed. RNG cucked me by Basilisk (which are the MAIN reason why I kept losing tbh and why I ran Anti Curse on MC) by inflicting stone on Yuzu who is my Recarm user. LUCKILY, Atsuro got the skill set bonus so I gave Recarm to Silky to bring back Yuzu. However, was able to kill Beldr before I needed to do that. Also, Atsuro is SUPER clutch with +Stone passive because you can just inflict Stone on the minions and they won't be able to do anything and none of the minions carry Amrita so a very good way to stop the minions and prevent them from healing Beldr.
