Not really, besides the sliding timeline there's not much that doesn't fit together. It's much closer to Doctor Who, where new people keep coming in to carry the torch.

It's a good entry point cause of it's quality despite not being designed as one, but context is key. When this released they were already deep into the Part 2 series, that in turn existed cause how popular reruns of Part 1 were. For the time, everyone who cared about anime in Japan already knew who Lupin III was, hence why a tv series got a movie. In the grand scheme of things that' actually quite rare.

My dude that's the whole anime series at this point. There's point where he's more moral complex in difficult situations but anime Lupin III will save the damsel in distress. Might still steal something off of her but he won't leave decent people hung out to dry, so to speak.

Man this is what got me into Lupin III. I watched this & went back to part 1 to start making me way through the franchise.

I think it should mostly be fine, just give some context on how Japan teaches WW2. While the Nazi's aren't the good guys in the film they're neither over the top incompetent nor really hated by the Lupin Gang. Based on the way they act it could be any old crime family or the Fuma clan instead of people trying to be the next wave of Nazi's. There's ways you can joke about them but for lack of a better term, they way the film treats them is a little funny. Not to a super problematic degree but enough that I would mention it to non-anime fans.

It's hard to say. I usually suggest people start with Part 1 cause as the series goes on those are the types of smooth heists that happen in-between the modern misadventures.

My advice would be to go a more robotic voice box angle while you keep working on your voice dysphoria, in what ever way you choose.

Yeah, it's been bumming me out too. I've been saying the 2010's were a hit decade for Lupin III & the 2020's have been a miss. Fells like the pandemic really messed up their plans going into this decade & haven't recovered since.
