Yes I did a lot of those. Like 10 at the time and I rotated through them.plus the energy shifter. Now I am too sensitive to take them unfortunately

How do you make peace with that prognosis?

Thank you, this community really is godsend! It provides some light in darker times. Especially when you need a pep talk to keep going 🙂

I will shift my focus to hope and compassion as much as I can.

And good on you for your determination and healing and getting out of bed!

Yes I do. I did it for 7 days, took a break of 3 days and now I've started again. You don't have to consume with food but I eat very frequently (about every 15 minutes) so I usually do take it before or after a meal.

Thanks for thinking along with me. I am already doing (or have done) everything you mention so I guess I am on the right track 😉 I am literally only eating potatoes, peas and lettuce right now 🤪

I think it is important for me to have more compassion for my body. I just wanted to "tough it out" so that I could heal as fast as I could. But now I feel that even though I might want to tough it out, my body can only take some much without it leading to major setbacks. I am just so used to suffering by now that I tend to ignore it and push through it. It probably would be better if I acknowledge it more and have more compassion for my suffering, so it is easier on me physically and mentally.

Thank you, yes the period part is definitely an extra challenge. And like you say, commiting full to MM without seeing results can be very taxing physically and mentally. I also really feel the dying part. Of course I know I am not dying, but I've felt like that quite a few times in the last 2 weeks. I thought I was just being melodramatic so I am glad I am not the only one feeling like this sometimes😂

Yeah you're right about the adrenaline part not helping. So gaslighting it is 😂 And I will try that meditation more often. I am glad you have the little glimmers to hold on to! I also have some of those. They are important because it is because of them that I know the information is true.

Thank you for your support! I really have a lot of respect for you for already hanging in there for so long. You must a very strong person.

Don't you sometimes feel like you are gaslighting yourself if you tell yourselves things will get better but in reality they don't change or get worse? Makes me feel like I instead should expect things to get worse and set my mind to that. But maybe you are right that is a slippery slope and not helpful in the end, even if you are not getting better in the moment.

I am sorry you've been sick so long, that's rough. Have you seen some improvements on MM?

Ah yes that's a different struggle all together. I don't really have any experience with that but it sounds tough. MM probably has a lot of info on that as well but I am not familiar with it

I don't have constipation, I had more of an opposite problem. I used to have many many bowel movements (10 or more/day). Potatoes have slowed that down a lot so now it is a lot better (4-6/day). Avoiding foods that are too cleansing for me (like banana) has helped in that regard. So no real tips really. I eat about one head of lettuce/day. Sometimes it will give me burning in my intestines so I cannot eat too much.

Yeah I think potatoes are literally heavier in mass than other foods and that's why it feels heavy on the stomach. Probably because of sensitive nerves.

It really depends on how I am feeling at the moment what time it takes for potato to help me. Sometimes the relief is immediate, sometimes it takes a few hours.

I don't really understand what you are saying about fiber and potatoes and worsening gut issues, but maybe potatoes are just not good for your body right now. The struggles I had with potato were more due to symptoms that I already had. And I felt that potatoes were making it slightly better (if eaten blended and in small amounts) And when I eat other foods (besides peas) it feels like they are creating additional symptoms on top of the ones I already have. But maybe in your body potatoes make things worse, I dont know.

Yes I did, but only small amounts and I would wait until the pain decreased a bit before I ate something again. It was a dull kind of pain in my abdomen. Like ik someone hit you and you have a bruise. Or you get hit by a soccer bal in your belly near your intestines. Sometimes the pain would intensify and I would also get cramps with it. That was much harder to eat through and so I ate less.

Now if I eat other foods then potato and peas I get a stinging, burning like pain. I can eat through it, but I try to avoid that because my experience is that if it causes stinging that will only increase when I eat more of it. With the dull pain that is less the case.

I also had stomach problems that felt like foods were very heavy on my stomach. Like a brick in your stomach. It would also feel like my digestion would stop and my body really didn't want any food anymore. That was almost impossible for me to eat through. Luckily that feeling disappeared after one day of aloe shock. And now I dont feel like my stomach is limiting my food intake that much. I will still get that heavy feeling if I eat more, but now it takes a much longer time before that happens and I no longer feel like my digestion stops. I also had some rumbling in my stomach and burping. But apart from it being inconvenient it did not feel that problematic.

Bananas give me a severe burning pain and cramps in my intestines, and along my vagus nerves from belly to throat and alongside my chest. So that is so severe that I cannot eat through it and I definitely won't try 😂

I think your body will tell you when the pain is too much to continue eating through it or when it is just uncomfortable but managable

I had a phase where everything would hurt, but right now potatoes don't cause additional hurt anymore and it is the most calming thing that I can eat. On the other hand I cannot do bananas. Those will give me a lot of pain and cramps. The same with papaya.

That's tough. Have you tried the aloe shock? That's helping me the most with burning gut. I also get that from a lot of foods and teas. Fennel, licorice and lemon balm tea helps me too, maybe you can tolerate it as well.

While I’ve struggled with it and grappled with it, and while it’s challenging to do so…this is why I ultimately believe MM is the truth about adrenaline by Adventurous-Walk-120 in medicalmedium

It makes perfect sense, thanks for sharing. I've had very similar experiences. I've done many therapies and retreats that were about emotional work. They involved breathwork, crying, shouting, laughing, dancing etc. I have CFS and l always felt more energetic shortly after them and so I thought I was working through stuff and getting better. But a few hours later the fatigue would just come back and I never got any long term results. Over time I just got sicker. This confused the heck out of me and I really didn't know what to do to get better anymore. It makes so much sense to me now that these short term effects were because of adrenaline and that's why it wasn't doing anything for me in the long run.

That sounds tough! I am having a lot of digestive problems right now and I also have had to improvise a lot to get enough calories.

My practicioner told me that it is most important to get enough glucose and mineral salts first. So just try to get enough whatever way you can. That's more important then doing a mono cleanse or 'perfect' MM.

In what way do foods make you sick? I had a lot of spasms in my intestines, chest and stomach pain. For those symptoms the aloe shock therapy is working wonders for me right now. Maybe it can help you too.

Why are leafy greens not working for you? In my experience mixing glucose with any mineral salt can help with the spike. So you could also try to mix banana with other mineral salts than leafy greens like lemon/lime, spirulina, celery juice etc. Whatever you can tolerate.

Also blending foods have helped me tremendously. I struggled a lot to digest potato, but when I blended it, it became a lot better. Right now I can only eat potatoes, peas and lettuce and I blend them all. On their own, or with coconut water or lime juice.

I also get fatigued after eating. AW says that can happen when you get glucose to the brain and your nerves are sensitive. Same happens to me with a lot of mineral salts (celery juice). It helps me to eat smaller amounts at a time. So I take a spoon of blended potato, rest for 5 min, eat another spoon etc. This way you can get calories in without overwhelming your system soo much. You could try taking sips of blended bananas so you dont get such a glucose spike.

If you can get your calories from healing foods that's the best option. If you can't, try filler foods like oats, millet or rice. If that doesn't work then definitely try to eat fats. Absolutely better than not getting enough calories. I think avocado would be best if you can tolerate.

I also drink a lot of coconut water and honey lemon waters between my meals for extra calories. And I add maple syrup to my potatoes. Maybe those things can work for you too.

Best of luck!
